With the unfolding of the years, there has come a certain peace that has settled itself into my being. Peace.. in knowing who I am and what I stand for. Peace.. in being so very thankful for all of the love I’ve been so blessed to receive. Peace.. in recognizing that I’ve lived a wonderful, blessed life. Life has been so kind to me.
Yes, there is peace in my heart, but there is also joy. There is also excitement for all of the special moments that lie ahead. Life’s precious melody keeps calling to me.. the melody that makes me want to dance in the light, holding onto and rejoicing in the sweet love I am so blessed to receive and give and celebrating in the joys of every day. Life.. its intoxicating sweetness calls to me. I don’t want to miss a single moment of its special wonder.. its special call. I want to drink in the sweetness of it – every single ounce of it that is here for me.
And with each day that I’m able to rise and enjoy – I hope to continue to grow. I hope to continue to learn and to give more of myself.. for what is it really all about.. if we cannot give of ourselves? What is it really all about.. if we cannot offer something of ourselves to the world around us? Perhaps it may just be something quite small in the scope of what great things others have offered.. but let it be from my heart.
None of us ever really know how many tomorrows there may be – but let me go to sleep each night with a list of special things I hope to accomplish tomorrow. Let me have a dream in my heart each night and a hope and a prayer for those I care about and love. Let me never forget to be thankful for each and every glorious day..
