Heaviness still hangs in the air as the ominous darkness of the sky begins to break away.
Rumbles of thunder still echo in the distance…
And slowly, a lovely blue begins to emerge, its bright freshness slowly overtaking the dense gray of cloud cover.
It lies in stark contrast to the peaks of white thunderheads on the horizon.
A beautiful collage of color plays games with the light of the early evening sun as it prepares itself for setting in the western sky.
There, its soft orange light spreads its presence onto everything in its path…
that magic glow of eventide, when the peace and beauty of the day reigns supreme.
A soft stillness pervades the air all around – as if God has been directing this orchestration of one of nature’s most spectacular events – and has now asked for a long pause…
And then, it is time for all of nature’s lovely creatures to emerge from their hiding places.
A call here and there from the birds as they begin their songs, rejoicing – their beautiful, shrill calls singing merrily to one another through the air.
And the mama deer with their babies following behind – toddlers, frolicking merrily with one another here and there as they begin their rounds, searching for another meal. For evening is approaching…
And slowly, majestically… Life goes back to normal

This is lovely. There is always something about the sun reappearing after a thunderstorm. The renewal and warmth just seems to make for such a lovely time. Your deer are so cute. Keep writing.
